Before there was a Beverly Center, there was Beverly Park. Located in Los Angeles, California, on the corner of Beverly Boulevard and La Cienega, "kiddieland", was one of Southern California's most popular attractions for over 30 years, where countless families, Hollywood celebrities, and divorced parents brought their children almost every weekend. Even Walt Disney took his daughters to Beverly Park when he was developing Disneyland and hired owner Dave Bradley as a consultant. Whether it was the kiddie rides or the birthday parties, kids kept coming back for more. Down the street was Beverly Ponyland, where little boys and girls rode their favorite ponies around a track.
